Privacy policy

What we collect

When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address, the country you select, your language preference, and the date and time you gave your consent. We do not ask for more than this.

Why we collect it

We use this information for two purposes: to write to you about the atelier and when commissions open, and to understand, in aggregate, where interest is strongest so we can plan which regions to open next.

Legal basis and consent

We contact you only with your express consent, given when you join the waitlist, in keeping with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You may withdraw your consent at any time through the unsubscribe link in any message or by writing to us. Withdrawal takes effect promptly.

Where your data lives

We keep our tools few, and we name the services that process your data on our behalf:

• Shopify stores our customer and waitlist records.
• Resend delivers our transactional and confirmation email.

No cookies or tracking

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. We do not track you across the web or build advertising profiles. Any future measurement will be privacy-preserving and disclosed here first.

Your rights

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and under Québec's Law 25 if you reside there, you may ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Québec residents also have rights concerning the portability of their data and may lodge a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the time the law allows.

Retention

We keep your waitlist information for as long as you remain on the list. If you withdraw your consent or ask us to delete it, we remove it promptly, except where we must keep a limited record to meet a legal obligation.
